Tara began skating in 2007 recreationally. At the age of 13, she decided to start training seriously while learning double jumps. At the age of 21, she won the Indian national title and completed her first senior international season which included competing at her first ISU championship (2022 Four Continents Championship in Tallinn, Estonia). Tara’s goals include landing the triple axel in competition, qualifying for the World Championships and competing at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

Tara is coached by Stephanie Ordaz Kuban and trains primarily in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. She is choreographed by herself.
